I. Job Summary

The MediWaste Shred Technicians are an important element in our ability to effectively service our healthcare clients. Please review the requirements listed and apply if you would be interested in joining our rapid expansion. Under direction of management, our Shred Technician will travel to designated healthcare facilities to provide collection and replacement of Document Destruction bags and containers on a regular scheduled route and by special request from our partnered facilities.


II. Duties and Responsibilities - include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


    • Must be prompt and diligent about schedule of service
    • Be thorough in completing the collection of all areas.
    • Demonstrate ability to communicate often with management and healthcare facility about any problematic areas.
    • Performs other related duties as requested or needed.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work quickly and quietly in healthcare facilities.


  • Monitor office supply inventory and order additional supplies as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.


  • Education: HS Diploma or GED
  • Possess a valid driver license and provide a recent MVR
  • Prior experience helpful.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment background check, which could include previous employment check. 
  • Upon hire, be able to pass substance abuse screening, a background check and a DOT physical           
  • Upon hire, obtain necessary tests for servicing each facility (i.e., Hep B, TB, Flu Etc.)
